This house has been lavishly restored and furnished to the highest standard with contemporary, luxurious furnishings and a luxury covered outdoor hot tub. The house has private, expansive, landscaped gardens with decked areas leading from patio doors from the dining kitchen. Milton of Buchanan is a lovely, peaceful village, 5 minutes drive from Balmaha. Balmaha itself is a beautiful village situated on the Loch, with an award winning restaurant, shop, café and various national trust walks including the West Highland Way.



Allen Cottage is peacefully situated in an idyllic rural setting surrounded by beautiful natural countryside, where deer reside in the woods, buzzards nest in the huge beech trees and a myriad of wonderful birdlife inhabits the pretty south facing garden.
It is a wonderful touring base for Stirling, Loch Lomond and the National Park, Aberfoyle and the Trossachs, but is only an hour from Inverary, Edinburgh and Perth and under an hour to Glasgow.
The cottage, which has recently been converted from an old barn, dating back to the 18th century, offers spacious accommodation, furnished to the highest standard, and is on three levels.
The cottage sleeps four people, plus two on a large sofa bed.



Heatherlea is a lovely semi-detached house located on the eastern edge of the traditional, Stirlingshire village of Thornhill. Dating back to the 1760’s, the house originally belonged to the factor (Scottish estate manage) for the nearby Blair Drummond estate). Whilst being an ancient building, it has been lovingly restored to provide a cosy, contemporary home whilst retaining much of its character. It has 3 bedrooms, the large master bedroom with king size wrought iron bed and en suite shower room with lovely views over the hills towards Gargunnock. The second bedroom has a king size bed and also has great views over the garden and the hills beyond. The 3rd bedroom has twin beds and is suitable for children & adults alike. These 2 bedrooms share a very spacious bathroom with walk in shower and twin wash hand basins, enjoying the south facing views. All the bedrooms have a TV, the twin bedroom has a TV& video.
A beautiful ,stone spiral staircase leads you to the ground floor. The large lounge/dining area extends the full length of the house and has oak flooring throughout the downstairs. A large oak table seating 8 provides the perfect spot to sit and relax over a glass of wine, whilst the wood burning stove ensures that the room is really cosy. The kitchen area is well equipped with integrated dishwasher, microwave and electric hob and oven. The utility room at the back of the house has a freezer and washing machine and is perfect place to hang coats, dry dogs etc. The house has full oil central heating and a plentiful supply of hot water.
The large south facing cottage garden has a patio area and grassed area and ample parking for 3-4 cars. The village of Thornhill has 2 pubs & a good local shop & play park all within walking distance. It is only 8 miles from Stirling and about 5 miles from Callander and the Trossachs. Both Edinburgh and Glasgow are within one hours drive and there are plenty more good pubs and restaurants within 3 -4 miles.
