The Midgies have become known for their high
energy West Highland sound and sense of humour. They are hugely popular
for playing all manner of corporate What's On and Scottish Weddings.
They are essentially a Ceilidh Band, however Gordon and John are “folkies”
at heart and are equally at home performing the folk songs of Scotland
. The band can also play in the slightly more regimented Scottish
Country Dance style. Indeed this has seen them perform to a Scottish
Country Dance audiences in Moscow and Cairo .
